Set the foreground color to
red
.
Then using Paint Shop Pro's text tool choose a font .( I used 48 pnt.
Tango BT
in this tutorial)
Place your text on the screen and deselect it.
Select
IMAGE
>
OTHER
>
DILATE
( 3 times ).
Set the foreground color to
yellow
.
Then place the text in the center and deselect it.
Select
IMAGE
>
OTHER
>
DILATE
.
Set the foreground color to
black
.
Then place the text in the center of the
yellow
text.
Don't
deselect the
black text
.
Select
FILE
>
OPEN
and load fire.gif.
Select the
FILL
tool from the tool palette.
Select
PATTERN
from the control palette.
Click on
OPTIONS
then select
fire.gif
from the list of images.
Fill the
black
text with the pattern.
Deselect the text.
Select the
RETOUCH
tool from the tool palette
Select
SMUDGE
from the control palette. Using the smudge tool with a brush size of
1
drag flames from the patterned area upward.
